Referral Service

The Tehama County Community Action Agency acts as a referral center for our low-income families to resources such as:  LiHeap, weatherization programs, credit counseling, emergency food and shelter, legal services, low-income housing, family counseling, senior advocates, education services, food stamps, health care, employment training, and much more.

A Resource Coordinator/Family Support Aide with Tehama County CAA is available to assist families through the Family Support Program with resources for employment, education, housing, child care needs and more. Plumas County Community Development Commission

Eligible households can receive a housing assistance payment made directly to a landlord for a privately-leased rental unit.  

Self Help Assistance & Referral Program - S.H.A.R.P

The Self-Help Assistance and Referral Program (SHARP) provides assistance and referrals for all areas of Family Law, including Divorce, Child Custody and visitation, Establishment of Paternity, Step Parent Adoptions, and Guardianships.  In addition, the Self-Help program can assist self-represented litigants with a variety of other legal issues.

Self Help Home Improvement Project

The Self Help Home Improvement Project assists families in Shasta and Tehama Counties.

Job Training Center in Red Bluff

The Job Training Center is a private, nonprofit organization in Tehama County whose mission is to provide unlimited employment opportunities to job seekers and hiring, training and human resource assistance to local businesses.
