Emergency Food and Shelter Program (FEMA)
The Tehama Community Action Agency has been selected by the federal government to administer the FEMA funds granted to Tehama County. These funds are dispersed to agencies in our community that provide emergency food and housing. The Tehama Community Action Agency ensures all FEMA funding is used to provide emergency safety-net services in Tehama County.
Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) 2024 funding for Phase 41 has been announced for Tehama County
Qualifying community organizations are urged to apply. For information regarding qualifications for funding and due dates please see the Press Release.
To comply with recent changes, we are asking partners to submit one application for each funding category. If you provide both food and shelter programs with EFSP funding then you will be required to submit two applications. If you are only applying for one category you will need to submit one application. The submission date for Phase 41 funding is March 23, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
Before submitting an application, organizations are encouraged to review the EFSP Responsibilities and Requirements Manual. This document contains information on allowable spending and other conditions of the program.
